Jennifer Abessira x Athé Vanessa Bruno

MTArt Agency is proud to announce the latest collaboration between our artist
Jennifer Abessira and popular French fashion brand Athé Vanessa Bruno.

Our artist Jennifer Abessira is a photographer working between Tel Aviv and Paris. Thriving off impulse with an almost exuberant display of miscellany; her playful pallet of quirky compositions are poignant and indeed a matter of fact. This somewhat elusive artist does not present her portfolio in the conventional sense, nor does she develop it as such, but rather chooses to blur such appeasable constraints of tradition, opting for a presentation in keeping with her foresight. She actively uses her Instagram account as her platform where she posts her palpable images daily, creating an intimate journal that belongs to the public.

The Athé Vanessa Bruno brand is what one would instantly associate with the term “French chic”. Through this collaboration, the classic Athé Vanessa Bruno T-shirt gets a makeover as we see Jennifer Abessira making her mark on the 2019 Spring/Summer line, trailblazing her way through with her images and various hashtags such as #PinkDifferentJen and #EverthingIsWifi.

For this new season, Jennifer Abessira presents a sensual selection of work based on her Instagram account, which is where she classifies her art by her own hashtags. With a selection made by Athé Vanessa Bruno, we see the hashtags come to life along with sentences extracted from the artist’s mind.

The partnership with Athé Vanessa Bruno is testament to yet another successful collaboration for Jennifer Abessira following on from her highly acclaimed 2018 public art project Don’t Think Twice, in partnership with Network Rail which was displayed outside London Bridge Station inspiring over 8 million people. Of course, this is aside from actively collaborating with multiple magazines and musicians along with frequent showcases in Paris, London, New York and Israel.

“To be alive is to be on the alert, to constantly respond to the things I see, to be intensive.”

Jennifer Abessira
