OUR COLLECTORS CLUB
The Young Collectors Club
Christie’s Education is excited to announce the launch of the Young Collectors Club in September 2019 in collaboration with MTArt Agency.
The club’s mission is to nurture and assist the growing young collectors movement with education and awareness of the art market and its components, with the aim of helping them to establish and maintain a solid art collection.
Through monthly meetings held at Christie’s Education London premises on Portland Place, young collectors, and those thinking of establishing a collection, will be able to engage and network with like-minded individuals who are interested in finding out more about the current art markets and share experiences.
Members will be introduced to emerging artists and art world professionals who will help them navigate through the art market landscape offering guidance each step of the collector’s journey.
Ambassadors of the Christie’s Education Trust
As patrons and members of the Young Collectors Club, you will also be contributing, through a small percentage of your annual fee, to the outstanding work the Christie’s Education Trust does to provide art education to those who would otherwise not have the opportunity. Offering bursaries and scholarships onto the Christie’s Education Masters Programmes, the Trust supports diversity within the art world and expanding opportunities for students from all backgrounds.

The Young Collectors Club Ambadassor: Charlotte Fletcher
Charlotte started collecting art after she bought her first home. Rather than learning about stocks and shares, she decided she would rather invest in something she loved and could appreciate every day.
Her first piece was from David Aiu Servan-Schreiber’s Planet series – aesthetically it was stunning, and David’s passion and philosophy behind his work resonated with her. It represents the beautiful planet we call home, complete with the damage that we have inflicted upon it: ‘It makes me stop, it fills me with peace, and it reminds me to be good to the planet we call home.’
For Charlotte, collecting art is not simply about investing money – it is about investing in a wider conversation, acquiring and engaging with beautiful pieces that represent important themes and messages.
She is especially interested in pieces that engage with environmental issues, and women.
