Tower Hamlets x Thames Water

Manhole covers are architectural elements to which not much world pays attention. In 2016, this project put forward this space under our steps playing between the light and the darkness of the street, by a graphic play of light bursting on several horizontal and vertical dimensions. Several bright devices ignite one by one such of the musical instruments playing a partition of light in the darkness of the street. Under plates in the ground, several types of lights in the movement are temporarily transplanted and played by their opening and other performing of railing, to create atmospheres which answer in the city. So from one pavement to the other one answer these lights create a symphony in this urban crossing. Every spectator finds themselves face has a new experiment.
