Adam Nathaniel Furman, ‘Fairfield Beacons’, 2023, London, UK.

Two of three ceramic beacons developed by AANF to mark the entry points into the newly landscaped Fairfield public space in the heart of Croydon. Six bespoke, screen-printed, vibrant tiles and tiling patterns based on local architectural landmarks representing every era of Croydon history were developed through a rigorous prototyping process, and worked up using UK skills and manufacturing and fabrication technologies to be able to create these large, complex mosaic canvases.
