Stasis III – Flow

Description

Stasis III – Flow, observes the natural phenomena of breaker waves. Considering their progressive rotational forces, turbulent flow patterns, and demonstrating the undercurrents that produce their natural effect. The music composition supports the visual work by articulating the compounding effect of motion, building from low pitched string sounds and recordings of the oceans altered with synthesis and spectrograms, to high pitched and chaotic string intonation, the composition mimics these behaviours through sound.
