In honor to the Van Kohorn dynasty the work resembles a heartbeat composition done with the letters of the name. With no inheritance, the painting shows how the deeds and actions, the way that they lived, their contribution to the society will last long after their existence, showing the importance of each individual to society as a hole, and how inter-depended we are one with the other.
