What is the valuation of MTArt?

What is the difference between an art agency and an artist agency?
An art agency does not represent visual artists. Art agencies connect artists to opportunities while an Artist agency represent a roster of artists. They supports and build artists' careers and have a long term strategic approach to the opportunities they put forward for their artists.
What is a visual narrative?
At MTArt Agency, we want to go further than the usual brand collaborations. We create brand equity by representing and accompanying top artists to integrate their art and messages in a reliable, memorable, and easily recognisable way to reach large audiences.
This is what we refer to internally as ‘visual narrative’ or ‘visual storytelling’. We look at deeply understanding the impact and power of visuals and narratives in individuals and societies throughout our artists’ projects while creating democratised opportunities for improving masses’ visual literacy.
We therefore couple the innate tendency of the human brain to understand images faster than other forms of communications with the ability to learn to interpret and make meaning from information presented in the visual form.
What does an artist representive do?
An artist representative, also known as an artist agent, supports and build artists careers. MTArt agents are experts in building artistic reputations, securing opportunities in and out of the art market, negotiating a vast diversity of agreements and contracts for public art and brand partnerships, sharing your narratives and promoting your work to large audiences and key industry experts. They also offer guidance, advice and strategic output on how to improve your portfolio, develop your narratives and market your work effectively.
What % do art agents take?
The percentage that art agents take varies but at MTArt Agency we are proud to take below the average commission of the vast majority of art world players
How is an art piece valued?
The valuation of an artwork is a team effort. Establishing the market value of a given artist or a given artwork requires the establishment of a corporative team of stakeholders such as artists agents, curators, critics, collectors, art commissioners, art dealers, museums, etc to build their careers, reputation and markets. Artists’ careers development stages can be categorised into three main categories: emerging, mid-career and established which directly impacts the demands for an artists' work and therefore its value.
How does an artist find an agent?
In order to find an agent, artists should submitting their work to artists agencies, or being discovered by an agent who is interested in representing them.
