Four of our artists, David Aiu Servan-Schreiber, Rayvenn Shaleigha D’Clark, Nitzan Mintz and Jesu Moratiel, were featured at the inaugural Eye of the Collector. Located at Two Temple Place, the art fair’s curatorial committee chose to display six pieces by our artists.
Without booths or boundaries, Eye of the Collector is a creatively driven selling exhibition that took guests on an intimate artistic journey from ancient to contemporary. Set in an elegant historic location, guests discovered works of art across all disciplines, presented with a modern eye in a grand domestic setting.
Works were selected from leading galleries, dealers and artists to create a multi-layered dialogue between the art and its architectural surroundings, thereby providing a new way to appreciate and buy artworks. Works from established artists were shown alongside their lesser-known contemporaries to create a journey of discovery and rediscovery and broaden the price points on offer. The fair presented 25 galleries and artists, with participants selected by a curatorial committee.
