Forever is Now (2021) | Giza, Egypt

The first of its kind in 4500 years, Forever Is Now is the first international art exhibition to take place at the Giza Pyramids & the surrounding Giza Plateau. The exhibition is held under the auspices of the Egyptian Ministry of Antiquities and Tourism, Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the patronage of UNESCO.
“The Pyramids have a long, illustrious history of extraordinary kind that has fascinated and inspired artists from all over the world,” said Nadine Abdel Ghaffar, Founder of Art D’Égypte, “I’m thrilled to share what will be an unforgettable encounter with the union of art, history, and heritage.”

The exhibition represents a merging of ancient heritage as well as contemporary art, by both local and international artists, at the oldest and last remaining of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, which today survives as a UNESCO world heritage site.

At the unveiling of his sculpture at Forever Is Now, Lorezo Quinn said:

“I have no words to express my true feelings right now. The reason I chose to create this work for this site is to honour the fact that society always works better and can surpass any obstacle when it works together. It is a historical event. It is a true honour.”
