Give (2020) | Palermo, Italy

Lorenzo Quinn’s sculpture “Give” is temporarily (until march 2021) installed at the Cathedral of Palermo. The sculpture, that represents “two giant white hands” – the hand of a man joining that of a woman – conveys a “message of peace and the value of giving”.

Discover Palermo walking tour will let you explore Palermo’s historic city center and discover one of the most representative attractions of the city: the Cathedral.

Amongst the most beautiful monuments of the Arab-Norman itinerary of Palermo, the Cathedral was recognized by UNESCO, as a World Heritage Site in 2015. Founded in 1189 and dedicated to the Assumption of the Virgin Mary, it is mighty and stunning; you will be amazed by the impressive and magnificent exterior of the building; it mixes very  different architectural styles from the original Norman structure to the late XVIII century rebuilding.
