‘In Plain Sight’ by BCW for Inside Out Festival
Shaftesbury Memorial Fountain, the world-renowned landmark in Piccadilly Circus, is hosting an installation by BCW, titled ‘In Plain Sight’ made of three lit up gates creating natural frames that highlight the surrounding architecture. This work has been brought to you by MTArt Agency and Westminster City’s Council.
BCW’s original piece is an invitation to rediscover the iconic area and interact with the subtle light activations from the 14th to the 17th of October from sunset. This spectacular illumination will be a major attraction within the festival programme, encouraging visitors back to the capital for day trips or weekend breaks.BCW is a London based artist, whose practise consists of sculptures, installations, photography and video.
The Inside Out festival continues this October with a series of outdoor art, sculpture and illuminated installations to surprise and delight visitors on the streets of Westminster this autumn.
