Color Theory for the Noor Riyadh festival of light and art, serves to demonstrate the beauty in natural phenomena and capture the sense of the philosophical sublime. The piece utilises machine to simulate the oceans, mimic how we observe specimens through a forced perspective, and paint new colour palettes through custom alogrithms inspired by art history, swinging between desert landscapes and vivid oceans. The piece is underscored by the artists original composition, which uses extended orchestral techniques and experimental electronic effects to ellicit a sense of controlled, weighted, oceanic chaos.
