Snowflakes

2017

Dai paper and lead

500 x 500 x 350 cm

The installation celebrates the precision of the Swiss watches done in Le Brassus, a small village where eight moths per year the weather is covered in snow.

The mirrored snowflakes remembering about the small cold village, composes a 3 dimensional structure that creates an optical illusion environment, reflecting light and generating a mesmerizing atmosphere for the viewer. On top of the snowflakes, golden leaf images remembering the Swiss natural environment like mountains, vales, clouds, offer an insight of the precious and elegance of the brand’s watches.
