Lorenzo Quinn
Sculptor
Contemporary Italian artist Lorenzo Quinn is a world-renowned sculptor, represented by MTArt Agency, particularly noted for his deft use of hands to convey authentic emotions and abstract concepts such as love and faith. A leading figurative sculptor, Quinn’s work is inspired by such masters as Michelangelo, Bernini and Rodin.
In May 2017 Lorenzo installed the monumental sculpture ‘Support in the Grand Canal of Venice’, to coincide with the Venice Biennale. This monumental sculpture consisted of child’s hands reaching up from the depths of the Grand Canal to bolster the antique façade of the palace, this public work called for attention to climate change in the centuries-old city it threatens.
Exhibited internationally, his monumental public art and smaller, more intimate pieces transmit his passion for eternal values and authentic emotions. Quinn’s sculptures have been placed prominently in cities around the globe, including major corporate and philanthropic commissions for leading organisations.
