After our very successful fashion show at the Serpentine Gallery, “Anthropocene” with Mithridate in September 2020, we are super proud to continue our relationship with Mithridate with the art of our artists. We do believe in the need for fashion and art to speak more, intertwine their language and share their respective audiences. With all the restrictions in London, Chinese luxury brand Mithridate collaborated with our artist duo to create a digital experience for the reveal of their new collection. The work which reveals Mithridate’s AW 2021 collection is a multimedia interactive experiential work entitled “Automatiste”, the title “Automatiste” comes from the French adjective Surrealist Automatism method for creating art.
Our Los Angeles based duo are internationally known for their large-scale conceptual works, often using performance and advanced technologies in a nuanced and poetic style. At MTArt Agency, we really support the digital and innovative side of this collaboration, this digital art and fashion experience does not require excessive waste and travel and demonstrates how creative minds can come together to create innovative projects like this one despite the restrictions.
