David Popa, Ephemeral, 2020, Helsinki, Finland.

Located close to the shores of Helsinki, Finland, David Popa’s first major Earth Mural Project features a somber portrait of the artist’s wife, painted with bone black pigment and titanium dioxide from the mineral Rutile. The islet itself complements the natural contour of the portrait, giving the impression of a quarter moon.
