Lauren Baker
Multidisciplinary
Represented by MTArt Agency, Lauren Baker is a British contemporary multidisciplinary artist living and working in London. Exploring the fragility of life, energy-fields, the after-life and other dimensions, Baker’s signature neon works portray the power of energy through her poetic typographic and celestial chakra artworks. Passionate about environmental issues and sustainability, Baker uses light to express the ‘secrets of the universe’ and aims to raise the vibration of love and connection within the world.
Baker’s large-scale celestial public art installations have been commissioned in the UK and as far as the Middle East. She has created installations at The V&A, Tate Britain, Tate Modern, Rosewood Hotel – her work is held in collections worldwide.
With a passion for environmental sustainability, Baker prides herself on being an Ambassador for One Tree Planted and Save Wild Tigers, and has created multiple collaborations in order to support Help Refugees, raising over £70k for charity. In 2019, Baker created an environmental art activism installation titled ‘Letter To Mother Earth’ at Tate Exchange and ‘An Open Dialogue With Nature’ at Saatchi Art’s The Other Art Fair and continues to work on her mission to plant 8,888 trees in the Amazon.
